dynoport racing silencer? any good?

i just realized that there was a dynoport racing silencer can on the sled i bought and i am wondering if it actually makes any hp , this silencer is on a 1997 vmax 700sx.
 
I had one for about 5 years on my xt700. I liked the sound, but didn't really notice any hp inprovement. I had to take it off due to NH exhaust rules(i got a ticket last year).
 
my 2cents is take the can off and put some quite triple pipes on. You will notice the hp gaines it wakes up about 30 horse
 
I mostly ran my dynoport for the sound. I love the way it sounded! MEAN!

I also still have mine. I haven't made any attempts to sell it, But if anyone is interested. PM me. It needs to be blasted and painted.

I ran one on my SXr before pipes. Damn that thing was obnoxious. And no I didn't notice any difference other than the ringing in my ears!!!
