really? the second pic looks like the right way to me and i have a spare block and im rying it out on that and it fits great in the groove inside! well i guess your right and have alot of experience with this!
well if u put your finger in the cylinder exhaust port .. and pull the power valve gently open u will see that the exhaust will be flush with the power valve....

I just cleaned mine today, Man what a differance in the way the sled runs !!!
way more responsive.

jeepers creepers daman...now you are scaring me.Can't remember if mine are the right way or not.Could be the solution to all my problems.But I am sure mine are right.Got me thinking now...damn...have to go check them I guess.
Tip for cleaning them...let them sit in bowl of seafoam overnight...then just take a utility knife scrap gently & wipe off...real easy...rx-1mountain said:lol...thanks for the info!
what oil are you running?
Another tip is run 2oz of seafoam in your fuel (full tank) & 2oz in your oil (full tank) & you will notice that they stay a lot cleaner...cheers

Just a note on the Seafoam. IT WORKS !!! If you use it as stated above ^^ regardless of the oil used your rings and power valves will remain free and clean. The stuff works if you use it often. Carbon SUCKS !!
