91 octane as short stop said but watch your ethanol levels most fuels ive seen with 93-94 octane are pumping the ethanol to it.
I find mine takes about a half pull when its warm, but not a light pull. Its gotta be one FAST pull then she comes right to life.

well, it sounds like the best safest way to go is to run 89 octane . Are there any negatives to doing this ?

A long WOT on a cold day with 89 would be a tad risky - I've found over the years SRX's run the best on unleaded 94 octane - I run pump premium unless I get challenged - then I blend up some pump premium with some 101 race gas!! - always seen more top end with blended fuel - stay away from leaded fuels - they are for higher CR's and don't create the power unleaded fuels do - and thanks for the motor compliment!!

93 octane would be better than running 89 octane.

I always have used 93 octane, thats as high as it gets with premium around my area, when i went up north to go riding, all the gas stations had 92 octane, i was confused as to why its all different up there.
