You are mistaken. And, when did you ask me this before? Like I said, it really isn't hard to make 110 HP out of a 1980 SRX (or 76-80) Most of the dyno time I have been exposed to is on a Stuska water brake with data recorder and a Dynomite. If you think the Land & Sea dynos are junk you have a lot to learn. The majority of the fastest racers use them. Back to the SRX, just port it to 77 mod specs (there is better) , cut the heads, use Aaen mod pipes (yes, 30 years old) and throw on a set of 48 round slides and head to the dyno. Oh, use the stock ignition and time it at 1.8mm btdc. It makes a very good, durable engine.
