when i buy the br9ecs plugs do they come with the correct gap? or does that need to be set?

Thanks

yeah they all come with the rigth gap.. sometime they fall on the floor and it can bent the gap and it may not fire right.. the 9 stands for how big the gap is..

yeah the br9ecs are recommended not to be re-gapped. I read about it before around this site.

br9es and others are ok though, if memory surves me right. to be re-gapped.

and sometimes they are dropped in shipping and what not so you have to check the Gap. Only Plugs you do NOT Gap are Iridium plugs.

Lower the number, Hotter the plug.

And there are 2 different gap sizes on br9ecs plugs so be sure to get the right ones. Can`t recall the correct part # but it has been talked about on here plenty.

the electrodes are laser welded and if re-gapped it will weaken them. also mentioned in the link expertXviper put in.

Skidoo uses them also they are gapped at .018 yamaha at .028. I prefer the .018 myself. That is what I run in my prostock and stock srx.

I always check my gap before installing a new spark plug, 90% of the time the gap is right but I feel better knowing I checked.

Yes it is welded, But if I open a new one and the gap is incorrect I will adjust it. No, you dont keep moving it, or you will have a problem.

ive never put a plug in annything unless i check the gap first(unless the push lawnmower lol.) like he said a piece of mind knowing.
