So B/c it's getting too much fuel it's washing the piston top clean where the ports are?
A pencil eraser size clear spot at the transfers is perfect jetting.
Ok that's great. Thanks a lot man! You really are a wealth of knowledge!
Know anything about heads?

Thank you also, I have 155 mains in there now. I'll see what I got for jets, But I think it might be ok. As I rode in cool weather, not the COLD weather I ride in Usually.

100 feet of wot won't tell you squat. you need to run it wot for 6-9 sec, which would be 600-1000 feet. you could back down on your main jets 1 size and still be ok. your wash is rich.

100 feet would be covered in like 2-3 sec from a dead stop. what ever circuit you are testing, be it the pilot, needle, or mains, you are not at that particular throttle position long enough, to get an accurate plug/wash reading. you say if you are too lean, that you could smoke it, in a distance over 100feet? that's why you always start like 2 sizes fatter than needed, so while testing, you see how rich you are, and you back down from there. always better/safer to start rich. you also said that you use 100 feet of wot for your testing? what are you testing? you say you are a stock guy, so what would you be performing jetting tests for?

i know, but if you're sled is stock, and has stock jetting, and you ride by home, why would you need to keep an eye on the jetting? what is going to change? no mods = no jetting changes, not leaving home altitude = no jetting changes, and yamahas good jetting = no jetting changes.

daman knows all, even if hes running stock sleds like me, he still knows his way around the block.
