I dunno when I remeber a december (end of november) like this in a long time
There's already 40+ cm on the ground, and it was -27 F sunday -22F this morning......ice is forming as I type.....
There is a winter storm watch for here tonight and tomorrow 15-25 cm expected, and thurs to sunday, not going above -15 as a high

Hamilton isn't all that far from the bay....in the 4 hour range...
We had nothing last year, I actually had to go south to huntsville, gravenhurst etc.
Honestly, I want the cold temps more than anything....Nipissing is a BIG lake, opening day for pickeral can be dicey some years...This year, there'll be no problem

Yeah It's about 4hrs. I plan to be uyp there quite a bit this year. And on puslinch lake too!
well here they switch the 15 to 20 cm to 2 or 4 cm grrrrrrrrrrrrrr i hate meteomedia

during the day yesterday (monday) we got about 4 inches... calling for another 5-6 inches tuesday... 8-11 inches expected total .... we had 10 inches on the ground prior to this storm.

plowed the driveway early this morning.... its now 10:45 and theres another 3 inches on the driveway, and still coming down hard... This is real heavy snow... best kind.

Yeah, we are getting hit pretty darn hard. We expect 10 inches or so at my house, making like 18 inches or so on the ground with what we had before.
I wish more went up far north, but I won't complain.

I went to Haliburton Wildlife Reserve last Sunday. Amazing conditions. Snow all week up in the highlands so this weekend will be even better! I hope the trails in some other areas open this weekend. Waddup Lake St Peter/Bancroft??

LOTS of snow on the ground right now, Hopefully that rain/snow bullchit isn't gonna come on monday, thats the day the trails are supposed to open. the day after that tho the temps are supposed to drop into the teens, so at least it would freeze up if it rained a little, More snow then rain would be expected anyways.
