I would like to get some bar risers for my 02 viper for a better bar position, but im wondering how high is to high with the cables and how much slack they have. Does anyone recommend a certain company for bar risers? ROX, speedworks are a few i have heard of.

thanks

I own 2- stock 02 vipers ;
1 has a powermadd 2 in riser block.
The other has a 3 inch ROX pivot riser.
both work fine with stock cables, no binding,or stretching, I also put on seat risers to bring up the riders position.
Both of the machines feel & ride fantastic.

I recommend a pivot style. Moving the bars forward helps almost as much as raising them. Doing both is great. I like the 3" with stock cables, but you have to re-route some of the cables. Be sure to check cables turn to turn, not just straight ahead.

Im with Ring-a-Ding!!
I went with 3" Rox pivot and really like the hight and the fact that they are more forward.
I had the powermadd, but they wouldn't hold their posision. I kept tightening the bolts untill I snapped the riser :o|

I used one of the TruVert 3" 35* risers (link posted my tremorzrt) on my Viper, I went with longer cables, the stock ones seemed too tight when steering left/right

in my 02 i picked up a 3 inch riser block at haydays for $5.. it seemed to be too much for the stock cables so i cut it down to a 2 inch.. this works fine but wouldnt mind more! but this will have to do without spending $85-$200 for taller riser and with longer cables

Hey Guys I Like The Looks Of The Truvert Anyone Know What The Different Angle 15deg Or 35deg Does. I Looked At The Pix I Cant Tell If It Moves The Bars Forward Or What. I Know A Few Guys Are Using Them And I Think Im Going To Get A Set But Wanted To Se What The Thoughts Are. Thanks

I have a 2" on mine and being 6'2" they really make a difference. I also found tilting them up a bit makes standing more comfortable too.
