what is the best way and results for cleaning power valves? any info you guys could help me out with would be great

do a search there are 1234675632413245465843542 ways to clean ur valves.. as for the "best way" its all personal preferance... aircraft paint thinner is what alot of ppl recomend to use

i don't know about using that stuff, that stuff might Mess up the coating on the valves... However i use carb cleaner, thats probably not any less Harsh

well my mtn viper only has 1700miles on it but however it has a terible low end bog and i have tryed almost everything so i figured i would rely back to the powervalves iv heard razor blades ,scotch brite pads,carb cleaner ect... i just wanna try somethin that one of you guys have personally tried and worked

I use the Carbcleaner then use scotch brite pad to remove most of the Carbon and if its real bad i use a razor blade to scrape the chunks off, being carefull not to damage the coating on the valves.
If its a low end bog then i would assume its more of a carb issue then pv's because the valves are closed up until around 6000 rpm.

Believe it or not wd-40 loosens up a lot of the gunk on them unless it is really crusty in which case I use a the side of a flat blade crewdriver which is dull.

try soaking the valves in trans fluid,supposeed to really loosen things up.I will try that the next time.

I soaked mine in CLEENS for 24 hours, then scortch brite pad, removed it very easily...carb cleaner directly on bad spots also helps
