Snowmobilers Kill Deer in Wisc

If anyone finds out who did this please post their names, Maybe we can ban them from this forum and possibly others. I believe humility would also be in order. Not only jail time. I would like to see people who do this type of sensless cruelety to have to walk the local streets and all snowmobile stops, with a sign on them saying exactly what they did and why. Let justice be served by the people. They also need to face up to the property owner, do some volinteer trail repair, ect.
 

People like that obviously have no or very little conscience so what ever punishment that can be handed out to them will not be enough.I just can't imagine what was going through their minds while doing this!!!!!!!!!!
 
Several years back a similar thing happened with a bunch of ducks around Houghton Lake.

People that do $hit like this deserve to have the tables turned on them.............
 
I heard this morning that people heard the sleds running in the field around 3 a.m., hate to say this but I bet the fools don't live far away from the scene of the crime.
I think the landowner should be commended for not saying the heck with snowmobilers and shutting off access permanently.
Sad deal.
 
I guess there is no way one can trace the tracks these guys made and follow it.Probably once they are back on the trail..it is impossible.Someone should come forward that knows something.It would be cool having a public stoning.
 
or better yet..lay them down in the field and let sledders make tracks on their stomachs..sicko's.The deer must have been scared sh*tless when these guys were riding on top of them.Deer usually will run away at a good pace and can gallop pretty good.This tells me maybe they were rounded up somehow first.

I wish I could find them guys and put them out in a field and chase them around with my sled first I would install about 250 Ice picks in the track.

Yes, the report stated they were rounded up and then run over. Sick bastards.....


We feed our resident deer, and even had a 6 pt buck in our yard last night.

We live in between fairly large towns, but it is far from country living, we all have 1 acre lots. So to see deer, fox, and coyote is pretty neat for us.

It just makes me mad to hear this.
 
This was on HCS and I replied to this topic as well. Like I said on HCS, sooner or later some asshole always runs his cake hole in a bar and some people hear them and they will get caught. It will happen soon enough. Obviously these people aren't too smart anyway for doing this.
 
Now there is a more than 4000 dollar reward to info that leads to the arrest of these idiots.

They will be found. Even "friends" will see that kind of cash reward and turn them in.

I doubt that anyone on these forums would have done such a thing. It is a very cruel and needless thing to bring our sport into a bad light. The "bounty" is almost $10k now! I guess there was an injured deer about 9:30 pm and sled parts found in the same area that night from what I heard.

I do believe it was someone that lived in the area myself......but that's just my non professional guess.

Sociopath, only difference between people like this and Jeffry Damer, Ted Bundy etc is they just havent killed a person yet! (or got caught killing a person) Narcisist, antisocial, there out there these a$$holes just happen to ride sleds in the winter. You cant believe it because you have "feelings" remorse, etc, they dont! sad really in a way, they cant love anyone or anything there incapable of it! They will pay some day! always do!
 
i herd the reward was up to like 15,000 now .someone will be getting a new sled and a nice trip to ride it for turning them in ...reward gets high enough one of the people that was with them might just drop a dime on the others ..i imagine there would be some damage to the sleds that did this .or some blood or hair still on the sled ....i couldnt imagine running them down and running them over ...i hit a few small mole holes and about threw me off the sled...a animal that big would have definately threw them off ....

Yes, apparently the DNR and police have parts of sleds from this debacle. They even know what brand year range and models they are from.

These guys are SCREWED!

In all seriousness, this could happen anywhere. It really is a shame it happend here though. We have already had like 9 people die while sledding this year. Us sledders don't need any more bad press.

I get PO'd at our few year old new night time 50mph speed limit on the trails. Stuff like this happening only will want more rules and regulations to be made. The reason I enjoy sledding is that there are very few special rules for sledders. Basically, don't drink and ride, don't speed through towns that have a limit (even night time limits), and keep on the right side of the trail, and stop for traffic/ stop signs. After that, it's all common sense.

Apparently common sense is not so common anymore. :o|
