I was riding this past weekend and my warning light came on and blinked once. So i looked at the sheet in the tech section it says my variable resistor is disconnected. I looked at everything and it seems ok. Could this be the start of the wiring harness wear through underneath the motor?
Also, i had read a post about the key in the disc wearing, causing excessive play in the disc. Mine seems to have to much play. Sometimes when i hit the breaks hard you can hear the disc "ting"
Thanks for the help

yes it was just one flash of the warning light. And i looked it up it said it was the Variable Resistor for the hand grips, disconnected. everything seems to be working fine, and the connection seems fine.
I was riding in some very powdery conditions if that makes a difference. Maybe a connection got wet?

If it hasn't done it since i wouldn't worry i guess unless it gets worse.
