oil pump not working may have air in it how do you fix it?

i have a 1999 vmax sx 500 rust rebuilt the top end, i put about 80 miles on the sled with oil in the gas tank to brake it in but not seeing a oil drop in the oil tank any ideas????? would rather not have to rebuild this motor again.... help...

did u bleed the pump?

Remove bleed bolt let oil drain,also make sure pump arm is working and not
off. when sled is running pull up on the pump arm so it goes to full flow pump for a wile.

then when done set pump.

keep running pre-mix in the tank till you know pump is working...

NP glad it helped,,keep an eye on the bottle making sure it's going down.

yeah its gone down alot had it running for about half an hour..

If oil consumpion seems like allot you can do more adjustments..
