looks like the classic lean burn/detonation,,air leak, crap gas(too low octane) were carbs cleaned? jetting checked, what kind of gas used? ethanol??

carbs were cleaned at start of season and just gased up at local gas station were i always gas.I have about 500kms on this season with no problem

piston top look weird like they are ready to burn.....and look very low oil burning with no wash .....

no ... cause all those cylinder are ready to go caboummmm...make sure your carb are clean and make sure it run with oil

Through the years there have been some guys that have had problems with the temp a flow causing them to slowly eat pistons. What happens is they ride; stop for a dig out, bs, smoke, etc...; jump back on and away they go. What happens then is the compensator warms up due to the sitting and thus leans out the jetting. 2 miles down the trail it's cooled back to whatever the temp is and is working right again. Since the ATTAC is basically a temp a flw with an altitude comp too I'd assume that the same problem is possible.

Now before all the guys that have been running compensators for years without problems get all bent out of shape. Notice I said some guys. Been lots that have never had an issue and probably never will, but they ride differently than the above, or make an effort to not let the comensator over compensate.

X2!!! if you got crappy gas w/ethanol or something, and the ATTAC leans it out more, a engine disaster is for sure in the works.

;)! put that attac shit in garbage .....save u money on gaz but cost u a motor :rulez:

what type of airfilters are you using?

the biggest problem with lean mixture comes from the airs way into the carbs.. there is a lot of people that doesent understand how importen this is. the airbox most be mounted perfectly!
