yamyrider..where exactly are you situated.I have been as far as the Big Nickle. Also have been to Elliot lake and up to Nakina,Ontario. That trip was 10 hours, usually 7 hours to Thunder Bay.

i recognise those trails.

did just over 500km between sat afternoon and monday night. we did a rockys run sunday from azilda. monday we did a cartier run+ as we did not take the groomed trails to cartier.

all i can say is dad's new sled is broken in right. must be the last new 2 stoke 3 cyl in northern ontario.

snow condition will be great again this weekend....about 5 inches of fresh snow....and some cold temps to harden things up.

might see you sunday. kirkswim and i are going for a ride sunday for shure. might have to go solo on sat if i do not sleep in too late.

march 22/09

Vince,I guess riding season is over for ya's or what.We have gotten a little more snow..most of it ended up drifted.Did some riding today, but it was a chore busting drifts today and going thru the ice in the ditches.Got stuck once today and almost rolled the 600 on top of me coming down a 6 foot drift when the snow broke away and sled dropped to the left, almost rolling it over.

Doug ," its not over till its over " , gonna run the gun early this sunday, still need 3 ft. of auger to get through the ice , and ride in the bush trails maybe even some groom trails , afterwards , im sure their still a good 2 feet of snow there . We will have to truck from home now , its not far 5-10 miles at most .

We are headed to the Turtle Mountains later today. They just got 6 inches a couple days ago.

And thats right harness racer. It's not over till your runnin on the grass. LOL
