Went riding all weekend and the sled was spot on. Buddy was taking it off the trailer to get his off which was behind it and back it off into the corner on his shed. It caught right on the corner of the rear end. Put a small dent in the bumper but it crushed the right rear corner in about 4 inches. I looked closer and it just put a fold in the aluminum frame. I looked up the parts on the net and they want 900 bucks for a new piece of aluminum
I don't want him to pay for a new frame when I think it can be fixed just by cutting out the old piece and riveting in a another piece. There really isnt anything back there that it needs to support. He also put a small dent in the cross over for the heat exchanger and pinched the hose. I just figured I would get a fab shop to fix the frame, have him buy me a bumper and a new rubber connecting hose? Sound like a plan. I can get pics if you guys need but its pretty straight forward. Right rear corner
