hey has anyone here run the mpi billet heads or other brands and if so how do they like them and if anyone has one they wanna part with i may be interested

i don't think anyone really ran the mountain performance peak heads on their srxs. usually guys just stuck to the stock heads, w/machine work, or they ran megapower heads.

i run it i like mine.

Looks like you run Aaens as well. I have a Peak cylinder head from Mountain Perf on my 2002 SRX , with Aaens as well. I have the 24cc[actually 23.75cc]inserts, stock is 26cc uninstalled. I like them...I also have a couple sets of Stock heads that have been machined for different comp ratios . The Peak head is a little more convenient for machining + changing compression ratios, but anything you can do with the Peak heads can be accomplished with machining the stock ones. [They do look good !!]

ok so say i guy burns up a piston when you have those billet heads would you just have to change the dome or would you have to replace the whole head assembly

If you pick up a Peak head I would recommend you also get a spare gasket set[they are actually O-rings]. The sizes can be a liittle tough to find if you need one ASAP. Been there done that!
I have heard the Mega Power heads were good as well + was told Hauck's heads are NOT the same as the Peak heads + the domes do NOT interchange.
