Need some help here...rodents????

how much water are you talking here.Ground must be dry under there, probably will take a couple thousands gallons of water.
Checked the trap but nothing yet.But she has been out last night.Grass is ripped up around the front here and she is moving debris into the hole.
Cam...if I released her somewhere,it would have to be like 20-25 miles away.Apparently they can roam from 2 to 15 miles from their den and still find their way back. How about at your house off Grassie Blvd....loc. Will sell you the trap cheap!!!!lol.
I am going to have to entice it a little more.Going to have to bait with honey or syrup. Can't believe it didn't smell the Tuna.

lol... I think I will have to pass on that...lol... Besides I think I might use dynomite, thats why I have insurance, isnt it??...lol... Any luck yet... Arnt skunks vegetarians?? I am not sure that they eat meat, you may have to throw a salad in with that tuna...lol...

I have another idea.Everyone come down for a BBQ.Gonna take my Propane Torch and fry them out.It throws 500,000 BTU.Shouldn't be long till the whole den heats up...eh. And no Kaboom like dynomite...lol. The flame is like 3 feet long ...can you feel the HEAT!!!! I'll heat it up till the concrete GLOWS...lol.

Heat away...mmmmm... skunk... roasty, toasty skunk... Sounds like a BBQ.. I will bring the beer... Going to need a whole lot to get that skunk washed down...lol...

You could ALWAYS move to CHICAGO.. Theres NO SKUNK problems here!!! the SEWER RATS would take care of that skunk RIGHT AWAY... if the RATS didn't get them, the PITBULLS WOULD!!!!

the answer is Carbon Monoxide.......you figure out the rest.
Sorry Cam,no BBQ yet..save your beers...lol.
Send me a few of them rats there nosboy.I hate friggin rats,on 2nd thought you keep them there.

I could move to Chicago to skip the floods and the skunks...but then I'll have to worry about handguns in my face...no thankyou.I will take my chances here...thank-you!!!!

I am with you on the not going to chicago Blue... You would need to walk around with quite the arsonal strung around you...lol... Hurry up on that BBQ... Getting real hungry, those rats are sounding yummy... Any progress on the skunks?? Did you try the salad yet???

thanks for being concerned.Trap is baited with raw bacon this time.I e-mailed my councillor in our Ward about the problem. She is usually very helpful for me.I went to school with her kids. She has helped me before when I had a problem.Wanna see if the municipality will help me with ridding the Skunk.

Shouldnt skunk be plural....skunks....lol... You spent so much time on the trap though... Wanted to see the pics after it or they were caught... Guess they moved in there to get away from the water... One problem after another, next you will have wasps under there...

Yes I know of people who shot 2 Skunks on their property during the Flood in St.Adolph.Funny thing here..the Skunk seemed to have left .There is no activity here for a few days now.Maybe something I did pissed her off.I was wandering why the hole was covered up with leaves and twigs Saturday night or early Sunday. She hide the hole and went away on vacation or to another spot. Strange thing all of a sudden..don't you think.I did spill some cholrine Bleach down the hole, but can't see if that would of done it.The trap is still baited and nothing has been touched.I will go and cover up the hole again and wait to see if any new ones spring up,if not..then she has left to have her babies somewhere else....hmmmmm!!!!Damn..I didn't even get a chance for my trap to catch something.
Once I know all is clear,I will dig down around both sides about a foot deep. Then will place chicken wire up against the concrete and 1 foot sideways of the steps and then cover up with dirt. This way if one tries to dig down, they will hit he wire and be discouraged and leave. ;)!

Thats good that the skunk has left, but you didnt even get to see your trap in action. One other problem, I am now stuck with all that beer I bought for the BBQ...What to do, what to do, hhhhmmm, drink it anyway...lol...

I cannot be 100 sure if the Skunk is gone.Trap still hasn't gone off.My wife put some grapes near the hole last night and they were gone this morning. One way for sure to know is I am going to fill the hole with sand(leftover from the sandbags during the Flood). Will put it down and pack it in.Either the Skunk will try to dig out, pulling the sand in to the den or try a new location.I will keep dumping sand there, she will keep clawing it in to the den...slowly filling the den...lol. Sand will keep on falling down into the den until she buries herself alive...lolllllll. Bring down your beer..this could be a Fun and the Ending may be either a calm one or an expolsive reaction.

A calm ending or explosive reaction.... You thinking about that dynomite again...lol... I like the sand theory... I think sitting back with some beers and watching is a great idea. Except todays weather sucks and the sand just might get washed in with all the rain... So it may have taken the grapes!?!? I think my salad theory may be useful...lol... Any progress with the trap yet?? I like the mouse traps on it and think its a great idea...

the rodenator looks cool and looks like a day of fun for anyone. It must be costly only. Cam ...stick it into a frozen culvert and let it rip. When you get your sled stuck in a hole..use the rodenator..it will lift it out for ya...lolllll!

I could buy another SRX for the price of one of them rodenator's. Can't I just open my propane tank and fill the hole with propane and then throw a match in and run..It is way cheaper.May see my front steps lift off and land on my front lawn somewhere.,BUT it would be cool to video tape and post on here...lmao...
