Installing a can

Bought an Bender can this weekend should be here later this week. Can i get a brief installation on how to install it on a SRX. Do i have to remove the 3 pipes? Thanks

YES, YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE YOUR THREE PIPES AND STOCK CAN. NOW REMEMBER THERE IS A PIPE SEQUENCE FOR ON AND OFF ON THE SRX. I HAVE A BENDER CAN HANGING ON MY WALL , I LOVE STOCK MUFFLER. 3;16 (yammie tony)

put them on in the reverse order you take them off, they wind around each other and must go on and off in specific order, you'll see when you take em off just make a note of the order

Just bought the can to have some grumble in the exhaust. Always been a fan of the benders on the SRX's. And i save a little bit of weight also

Few springs here and there, couple bolts to loosen and she comes right off. 10 min job. Thanks. Now im wondering if i should change the gaskets on the pipes. $55 for 3 gaskets is awful pricey though at Yamahadirect.com

better then blowing one out on the trail a mile from nowhere, been there done that, i'd buy em and keep a better of the old in your tool kit, or at least buy one and keep it with you, jmo

Had a Bender exhaust can in the past they sound so awesome across the lake. Going to replace my stock set up on the Apex down the road. Good luck with your sled setting it up.

I paid $150 shipped for a bender can with less than 100 miles on it
