Hey

Ike,
Thanks for the photo. Did you just enlarge the opening for the original ski? Then add a spacer between the mount and the plastic ski? Did you use the 96 version of the rubber mount/pivot under the strut?

hello again
there is no hole in the orginal ski (aluminium part) so i made it myself. plastic plate is between aluminium and plastic ski. That plastic plate lifts aluminium part 6 mm upwords. And i didnt use orginal rubber under the strut, i made a thinner one so that ski moves when u lift it from ski tip.
I drew a poor picture as you can notice i aint much of an artist. Did you understod what i ment.

Ike,
THanks again! Did you have to add spacers/washers to the ski bolt to make the mount fit tight to the strut? This is way more info that I had 2 weeks ago!

Yes i
remember putting 3 washers per side so it is 6 per ski, then fit is tight. wider the washer better it is. I had to cut tube inside strut shorter to same lenght what strut is wide. remember to put grease inside tube. Zoom in pics you see much more.

Ike what did you use to cut through that metal?
Sorry for my late response.
I just used a grinder. Clean and simple.

What were the demensions of the cut ?
Again, sorry for my late response.
I don`t remember the exact measurements of the cutting. My sleds are stored for the summer in my dad`s place 110 km away, so ...
Just cut eneugh to fit the tss strut there. I´ll take measurements next time I visit my parents.
