Nytro skid

Hey,

Would it be at all possible to mount a skid out of a 07-09 Nytro into a older V-Max with the pro-action chassis, or are the tunnels on the new four-strokes that much different. How about ride quality of that particular suspension? Searched around for that type of skid swap and didn't find much.

I did a Nytro XTX skid into a Viper. It is very doable, just takes a bit of planning, design and fabrication. There aren't too many who have done it so you are kinda on your own. I can maybe offer some help if you can get all the measurement from the Nytro skid. I only have the XTX measurements which are different.

The XTX skid is night and day a better ride than the ProAction. Having ridden the shorties too, a 121 Nytro skid should ride very well in a Vmax.
 
Sounds good, thanks for quick info. Will for sure hit you up when it comes time to do the swap. What exactly is the XTX, package?
 
I don't have the MTX measurements, but I can tell you that they are different than the XTX.

I can also tell you that your swap is more common than the one I did.
 
The Nytro MTX will be back in my garage next week some time, definetely by Friday. If you can wait, I'll see what I can do for you. You may have to bump this thread to jog my teflon coated memory though.
