What oil does everyone use?

I haven't decided on what oil to use for my 2000 MM 700? Some people have told me to go with Redline and some have told me to go with AMSOIL? Any input from any of you pro's out there as to what I should use.

On the old red head triple use the cheapest wal mart 2 stroke oil u can find!
 
These motors with no PV's really don't need anything special.

I run the arctic blue from fleet farm in everything but my PV'd XCSP. Never had an issue in 10+ years.
 
Yeap its coming, that is why when it comes to OIL I don't put any on my sleds... ;)! Just run them dry, that way I don't have to argue and disagree with the guys here....

Oil is cheap compaired to an engine rebuild. Todd look for oils that have an -40 below pour point.What is pour point it is the ability for oil to flow at a certian temp. Redline or AMSOIL our both good oils. On power valve motors I would use AMSOIL INTERCEPTOR oil. I use this in my SRX and had no power valve issues and burns clean. On non power valve motors I would still run an synthtic if it was me.
 
i agree with turk...........walmart supertec...my whole group been using it for years....proven comparison between yamalube and all others...no problems....especially for $ 9 a gallon

It's around $10.00 a gallon for the arctic blue (aka yamalube) or more than double that for amsoil and such.
