Srx Carb Heat Selector Lube?

Anti-sez would probably work better,,it's a semi high temp also.

Anti sez would be the best it works on brake caliper pins. But im not sure if it would cause the oring to swell. It would need to be tested on a scrap oring over night.

I know dc4 is ok
 
I know what you mean by cheap crap that hardens,we have the better stuff at work it's better but pricy..

i dont think AS would be a problem theres no harsh chems in it.

It was the DC4 dielectric grease I used as well...the same stuff used for A/C, Porsche O rings ect. It worked for a while but then got so stiff I could hardly move it by hand.

LOL...Yes really...thats what it says on the green tube! I am around the aircraft business as well[closing in on 40 years!!!] so most of my shop has commercial grade products.

No corrosion, after a period of time[1/2 the winter] it was like the O ring was dry, you could turn the selector but I usually had to use a small crescent wrench. I suppose if a person were to lube it every month or so it would not be an issue.
