Ok, i'm going to risk sounding like a complete moron, but what are you talking about when you say "cable pull through?" In past posts, it seems guys have mentioned that when the cable gets REALLY out of adjustment, they can "pull through." Does that mean the cable wears on the power valve if not adjusted properly?
Thanks...
Thanks...

It means the cable has pull'en out from the end of the valve, there's a groove in the end of the valve that the cable attaches too.
Happens with in proper adjustment and dirty/gummed up,not being cleaned regularly.
try a search on power valves you'll be reading till morning.

As I have learned, there really is no stupid questions. If you dont ask you will never know!If you do have pull through's its worth your time to get them repaired for the sake of 20$ each compared to 120$ per valve JMO
This may be another dumb question but is there any way to tell you have a power valve not working properly buy riding the sled ? I took mine out and cleaned them but I never took the valves off the cables. My sled runs great and has tons of power, but do you know when the pull through happens?

ONLY true way to know is pull them appart, open the housing and look. A srx has great power if there not working so it's hard to tell by the butt dyno.azzy522 said:This may be another dumb question but is there any way to tell you have a power valve not working properly buy riding the sled ? I see in post 7 the repaired one. Looks like you have a new bolt in there and have cut a slot in it. How does the cable attach to that slot?
