I would like to know if there is a way of telling if there was any mods done to my motor. I bought it used, and the kid I bought it from only had it for a year. I was running the lake today....running VERY fast, rpm around 8800 / 9000. As always, use perm gas. new plugs. no picks, cleaned the clutches, power valves.
Would I be able to tell if it were ported?
Nothing could touch her today...that I came up on. :2strokes:

You didn't meet up with bluemonster yet, He'll show you how to put wings on a SRX

vince..if it wasn't frozen..don't you think he was just lucky to keep afloat.......while others were going under.I can go fast on open water because I have WINGS..LOLLLLL

mod..shut that window and keep your head inside, stop looking out for snow will ya.....lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

generally you adjust rpms with your primary weights, i'm no clutch expert but the clutchers here are going to need to know everything about your current setup to help ie: what weights/rivets, primary spring, helix, secondary spring, how much wrap on secondary spring, also are you running a new oem belt ( a worn or cheap aftermarket belt will affect rpms)
