I just tore off my 1.75 track off my srx , I already have 8 tooth drivers . I was told by the yamaha mechanic that to put a 2" on my 121 noaction skid I would have to lower the mounting holes for the suspension. He said he put a 2" on a sxr 700 and had to lower the mounting holes. Has any one else had to change mounting holes to add a 2"? I believe the middle bolt holes were the ones he had to change mounting position on, but not sure.It seemed like there was enough room with the 1.75 but I want to be sure before I buy another track!

Itll fit. Its tight in the top of the tunnel, but it will clear.

I forgot to mention I have the viper suspension in my srx. If I went with smaller upper idler wheels instead of 7" If I went with 6" Or6.5 will I run outta track tension adjustment?
I've done two of them with a 2". No problems here.

Without changing anything other than the drivers?

Thats all i have changed was the drivers. Not sure what size the upper wheels were though.

I have a 2" on my SRX, and did not have to change anything, man do I like the way it hooks up on the trails and lakes.

Didn't have to change anything? How did it clear with the 9 tooth drivers?

Yup, get a big track like that on an SRX and hold on! I left stock 98 gearing in my srx with 8 tooth anti ratchets with an 1.875" track, AMAZING!!!

I dont have stock gearing, mine is 22/40 and clutching is 8dn20's and 54/44 bender helix , so it should be WILD!!! It was great with the 1.75 until I put the rail through the track !

Went on a trout lake last year, no other sleds had been on it, 3' powder and 2' slush. That 2" track ate it for lunch!!! Have fun.

Thats good Cause this year is gonna be a bad one for slush or "slob" we call it here in Labrador! Usually this time of year is -40C or colder and this year it is 0C today gettin lots of snow but the ice is sinkin!
What 2 inch track are U running in the SRX, I would like try the 2" track for drag racing instead of 1.25 as the SRX are known for trenching in drags

I ordered the Camoplast challenger 2.0! I had the back country1.75 on and it was great hooked up wicked! I can only imaging what the 2 is gonna do!
