8BU-10 WEIGHTS.
4.5 RIVET IN TIP
4.5 RIVET INNER
50-40 HELIX @ 80
GREEN SPRING. NOTE :. MIGHT UNDER REV, SWITCH TO STOCK RED SPRING.
NOTE: I USE MAXXIMUM PERFORMANCE SRX SPRINGS. HARD TO FIND NOW. POSSIBLY W-W-W WOULD BE FINE. MIGHT NEED TO FINE TUNE ENGAGEMENT TO ATLEAST 4500 WITH A SHIM. REAL NICE ALL AROUND CLUTCH SETUP THAT REALLY PULLS HARD MID RANGE. WHISH I HAD LONG STRETCH TO REALLY FLY. 3:16 (yammie tony)

MONSTER, DID YOU TRY THE 8BU-10,s. ONLY THING I FOUND R,s WERE LOW AT FIRST, AS A LAST OPTION YOU COULD LITE,IN TIP ALITTLE, BUT I SWITCH TO STOCK RED SPRING AT 90 TWIST, VERY LOOSE CONDITIONS WITH 145 POUND DRIVER PROBLEY RUNNING 660 FT RPM WAS 8350/8400 DREAM METER WAS ON 101. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Going from a green secondary spring to a red will lower rpm,s.

They work well on trails. Most guys don,t use a stiff enuff secondary spring so the backshift sux.

I'm running 8BU-00 in my srx with a silver secondary at 60 wrap with a 47 helix and there was nothing wrong with backshifting on my ride yesturday worked great spot on rpm's and also beat a F7 with setup so me like very much but if there is something better let me know LOL!!!!!!!

8Bu-00
4.5 tip
.8 heel
47 helix
21/40 gearing

NOT A BIGGER FAN OF 8BU-00 WEIGHTS THAN ME. I USE THEM IN MY GRASS ICE 2000 SRX AND MY 1995 VMAX 4. I DO THINK THERE IS BETTER WEIGHTS FOR ALL AROUND USE, TOP SPEED , ON / OFF THROTTLE, LAKE RACING, AND EVEN TRAIL. AND I THINK THEY ARE THE 8BU-10.s. mike is correct , but i switched to red spring with more twist and that incresed my rpm. i posted first test sled had a under rev. probley could lit,en up primary also. 3:16 (yammie tony)

srx

Changed my primary arm weight on 02 srx from 52.2 to 55.7 grams with 8 gram nut-bolt rivets for the tip (4.5 heel) and geared her down to 23-40. Motor loaded up when I pinned it with 48-40 advantage edge helix and red secondary spring.

Changed to a straight Yamaha 45 helix and changed to the green spring to bring down rpm's. After 50 miles now, I can say she pulls a lot harder than than the 48-40, 4.5 gram both hole setup. Both clutches cold to the touch which I never saw with my old setup and love the backshift.

Need to line up against my buds rev 800xp and apex's to see if seat of the pants feel is for real. : )
