I'm thinking about going to look at a 2003 Viper with approx. 2400 miles, no studs and I'm told its showroom condition. What are the pros and cons to this sled. Is there anything I should look for other than the obvious? Whats the price range for this sled? Thanks
Look to see if the owner has installed a rear HX.

Needs updated suspension!
The vipers biggest flaw is the rear suspension. In order to get these sleds to ride good, you need to look else where for a used or aftermarket suspension. The stock suspension is hard to adjust/tune. I would plan to spend some money there if you intend to ride it yourself. I would also pull off the servo cover and check out the exhaust valve cables. If you don't take alook you could be into hundreds of dollars of parts to repair/replace the valves.
