Anyone else have to hold the throttle to start when hot on an SRX700? Will start good when throttle used??

I typically need to pull once or maybe twice when warm. If we stop for an hour or two at 20* outside it may take three.

many yammy tripplee need just a touch of throttle when they are warm. Both my viper and srx are the same 1 pull warm just with a touch of gas

Same here on both of my 2000 SRX's, a touch of the throttle and one pull when the engine is warm to start them.

Yep nature of the beast.
Mine will hot start most of the time without throttle. But if I want to make 100% sure it doesn't need a second pull then a little throttle it is. Usually do it when there's people around.

X2 - I would only add that I never had to touch the throttle when warm when my pilots were at 1-1/2 turns. I turned them out to 1-3/4 reduce occational idle hang but will sometimes have to crack the throttle slightly after a 10 minute or shorter soak. I have them at 1-5/8 but haven't riden it enough this year to conclude anything.

They all do it... Sometimes mine will start with no throttle, sometimes it will take a shot of almost half-throttle to get 'er going. Usually I just give it a quick shot as I'm pulling of about 1/4 throttle, seems to do the trick 9 times outta 10.

Always give mine a shot of throttle. Guaranteed 1 yank when warm on mine.
