My Viper running lean??

One thing I noticed was that someone had the oil line off from the tank to the pump. I noticed a white nylon wire tie on that hose rather than the metal one yamaha uses at the pump end of the hose.

do you mean the arm of the pump?

I think you may have a blockage in your oil tank . I would take off the tank and empty it . A ring from an oil container may be blocking the passage it happened to me so It can happen to you! J to the R.O.C ... lol

Just pulled hose off the bottom of tank and It flows good!
