Went out today and my DCS light came on again. Filled up with 93 octane and my DCS light is still coming on ocationally? Any sugestions i have tripple pipes with 162.5 mains. Hauck pipes and RPMs running around 9100 with wich hauck recomended 8900 to 9200. Anyone have similar problem. Plugs look good.

I would jet up to 170 on the mains. DCS alway's came on with anything smaller on my piped viper. It could also be noise from the pipes triggering the sensor.

Not at first it seemed fine then a little in the day it started doing it ocationaly then a little more I then put some klotz and seem to happen less. I do have the vforce3 reeds in it which most people I talk to on here do not have. I think im going to go to the next up jet size.

carb venting

I also had problems with piped viper jetting, until I changed the airbox carb venting to open carb venting. Before I didn´t understand nothing, but after the sled responded to jet changes in a normal way. This sled was a -02 without DCS so I don´t now if this will help you, but it´s a easy thing to try. Read the attachment and think about it. An other problem I had was after a jump the sled boged, I think that when landing you fill up the carb vent lines with fuel and upset the jetting. With carb vent lines straight down fuel run out off it.

You know thats funny cause I saw a liquid today under my air box which seemed odd but thought it was snow. Could it have been fuel leaking out of the air box?

I just bought ths sled with the pipes on it and I did a rebuild on the top end. The stock reeds where bad so I decieded to replace them with vforce3 but I had never ran it before I did all the work to it

Most engines spit back a little fuel into the airbox at some engine speeds, two strokes a little more than four strokes so this is normal.

I really didn't think nothing of it other than must be water from ice melting. But now that I think about it I cant see why it would have been there

couple of things to check ...make sure your not to lean ...make sure u dont load the motor to mutch ..thats creates alots of heat ....some clutch set up make the motor torque alots
