Yamaracer, any more pics of you sled, thinking of doing something similar.
Man, lot`s of nice SRX`s here ! .
Here are a few shots of mine:
If I had the money I`d repaint it and get it into mint condition, but money dont grew on trees.. .
Sled is extended to 136" with 2" lugs. The boogie and everything is dropped down in order to make clearance for the lugs and I guess it will also increase the "traction" in the soft stuff. The boogie "mountings" in the front are also changed in order do get a better "attack angle" on the track so that it doesnt push the snow infront of the belt.
It also has no-slip drive wheels, bar riser, bar strap and the headlight surrounding+windshield is painted in the sleds color. The front suspension is dropped 5cm, greater ride height.
I just got it, can`t wait to get some real snow, only 10" now..
Joakim.

It looks like you are missing your upper control arm bolt. May want to check that out.

Hmm it`s know I wish my english was better, or maybe I have to little knowledge on sleds. Where is the upper control arm ?. The seller said that he had removed some control arms in order to make the sled "wheelie" better, like, get the skis off the ground so it climbed better. There are two arms and I have they are lying in my workshop now. Was it a dumb move to remove them?.

I dont know about your state, but in VT any color is illegal, infact any modifcation to a headlight is illegal... i got pulled over for having a green lens cover in broad daylight... 185 dollar fine! Just thought i woudl chip in... but they do make a sled look slick!
Beautiful looking sleds by the way!
