Viper Diagnostic

My 2003 Viper is flashing the diagnostic light. It is flashing 7 times? What does this mean?

Flashes on off 7 times and repeats? May have to do with your Power Valves or servo..

remove servo cover,idle sled down to 900 rpms,does servo activate and open PV's smoothly??

Does your viper have electric start? Have the power valves been cleaned and is the servo operating correctly?

Just cleaned them at the beginning of the season. Never adjusted them , ever.

I guess I should search the forum on how to do this.

after i cleanded my pv's i had that light flash 7 times and had never had it before. I know when i set them this time they were set to spec but was not that same as before. I loosened the pv's to about 3mm and the problem is gone for good.

Follow the PV valve setting instructions in the Tech section, I bet it goes away.
