can you put a 14 inch wide track on a stock suspension in a SRX such as a snocross 1.5x14x121 2.52 pitch :letitsnow :2strokes:

No problem fitting that track in your SRX as long as you're not running studs. The stock 9 tooth drivers will work fine.

You will need to remove the front heat exchanger protectors and tunnel protectors for clearance.

I have a 1.25 in now with tunnel protectors out I was more looking for the 14 inch wide deal as will I have to modify my undercarrige somehow or leave it as is

that's why I want to know if it will work in a SRX

I was told to get a 1.5 snocross track for snow draging and I was looking at some snocross track and they were all 14 inches wide

Why do you want a 14" wide track??
looking to lose a few extra pounds of rotating mass ....best place to lose weight takes more power to move rotating weight ....

the one I was recommened weighs in at 33lbs fully clipped but was told I have run extroverts for drivers

We put a 14 x 121 x 1 on a ZR 900 and it did gain a couple mph but deff lost traction. He wasnt set up right but its hard to deny the speeds of a Firecat being related to the narrow track....

I would be curious how much top speed is gained vs loss of cornering (ski lift) and loss of traction on an SRX...

so the track windows and clips are the same c-c measurement as a 15. seems to me that would answer needasrx's major concern
Oh yes deff. The Phazer 14" wide is a direct bolt on. No changes required. Same pitch and clip spacing...

yes thats what I wanted to know if these are the same measurements where the slide rails ride from a 15 wide to a 14 wide

You're going to lose some traction & deep snow capability, srx's already trench terribly, but if you're looking for top end the gains may outweigh the losses.

The track I'm looking at is 1 1/2 snocross track not looking for topend just better traction for snow drags I'm still trying to gain a sled length on an local F7
