I have an 03 viper er that i just did a rebuild on with, referbished crank from midwest crank, new rings, new seals, all went together great, put motor in last night, made sure all the connections were good, bleed the oil pump, got as much air out of the cooling system as i could, finally i was ready to start it up. Used 50:1 premix w/ 5 gallons as well, turned the key, took about 20 seconds and she was running. I just let it idle for a while maybe 5 minutes, pulled it outside, checked for leaks while running, so far so good, i think i got all the air out of the cooling system. after about 12 minutes i started giving short burps of throttle no more than 4000ish rpm, sounded great, so i kept doing it, again keepin the rpms down under 4500 and it seemed to do it w/ out a flaw. Ran for a total of around 25 minutes. Today i go out to run it some more maybe get the track spinning a bit, and the thing cuts out and boggs like there is a safety switch or something preventing it from revving up. i've looked over all the electrical connections and they are tight. Just looking for some more ideas, it sounds like its being cut not running out of gas or anything, where do i go?
