throttle end play adjustment,
you cant, oil pump feeds fuel pump where oil and gas is mixed then sent to each carb.gixxerdan said:How do I fatten (more oil) to that magneto side cylinder? Does it now become a jetting issue or an air/fuel mixture issue?
sounds like your on the right track yes, 12 to 13 mpg is what you should see out of a stock well tuned red head, keep up the good work watch plug color(jetting) keep track of oil usage and stick with that 50:1 and your good to go.gixxerdan said:Well after being out for two amazing nights and logging a couple hundred miles, i've done some calulations and determined that i'm running closer to 50:1. I had this sled for a year and this is the best it's ever been (even beat an 800Polaris Edge!) Throttle response is crisp, plugs look great and I'm happy!
I'm just a bit embarassed that i didn't know such a small adjustment could make such a huge difference.hahaha
The temperatures were mild and trail conditions loose and i've calculated fuel mileage to 12mpg...moderate to brisk pace. That sound about normal?
