I have run the Team secondaries on my VMAX4s and my 2002 SRX.
I have both a Team Tied clutch + a couple of Team TSS-04s and have numerous Helixs for both styles.
I really like these clutches for the trail riding I do.
Positives:
-relatively easy to tune
-seamless upshift + downshift
-very high quality
-run very cool
-good in deep snow
-no belt slip
-great all round performance
Negatives:
-high spring side pressures at full shift[can't be avoided do to its design concept]
-older designs are a little heavier then stock[TSS-04 approx 9lbs 5oz]
-special tools required to change springs
-had a slight clearance issue with lip of bulkhead when clutch was fully shifted, so I had to trim the lip with a dremel
On my trail mod 2002 SRX, I set up a Team Tied + a TSS-04 as best as I could by changing springs, Helixes ect and using adjustable Heavy Hitters in my primary and I could not get a higher top speed[GPS] or quicker 660'[head to head against my Improved stock 700SX] then my Yamaha secondary setup I was running. This is all on a 144" sled, on hard packed snow, 1 1/4" ripsaw, no studs.
Having said this I could get the Team clutch to work very well in pretty well all normal ridiing situations and still run pretty close to my drag race setup I had using a Yamaha secondary.
I ran the Team Tied on my SRX all last season[approx 3500 miles] with absolutely no issues and have no plans to run anything else.
