I figured this would have already have been discussed but my search showed nothing...I haven't checked the tech section yet. Anyway I have a very small carb tuning issue with my triple hesitating when I pull the trigger to pull a hole shot. I am always anal about checking plugs and they are just like I want them, black with a nice brown electrode. A little rich but safe! Anyway I think I need to adjust either the pilot screw or the needle or both, I am just curious if anyone knows exactly what I need to do to make this go away. Not a big deal, but annoying when I am trying to do everything I can to keep up with my brothers viper off the line...haha.

reed spacers helped my 600 a long time ago with that bog or hesitation..was worth it for $25.00.Or do a reed notch.

Yeah it did help but is still present. I notched them last year

Fuel screws

On the bottom of the carb. First see where they are set by counting the revolutions when you turn them in. Turn them out 1/2 a turn father than where thay are now. Don't go out more than 2 1/2 turns or you'll risk loosing spring tension and having them fall out on their own.
