I have checked the treads to find out info on 8cr setups but come up empty.
I have sx 700 with hauck pipes trying to set clutch up. It pulls like hell from a stop and slight roll, but when it just above a roll it hoggs up when i land on it. Back off the throttle you can here the clutch pop out it hit it again and HANG ON! I took out sum tip weight and it got better. Here is what I got. Shoot me some in put. Thanks
Engages at 4500-4700 rpm
8CR w/14.5 rollers
4.5 heel 2.7 tip
y-w-y spring
48/40
red spring at 80
22/39 gearing

I don't know. I have been testing on grass and do not have a gps. I just know it pulls hard. And will not back shift till i back off.
what is your shift out rpm?
I found my prob i had a bad groove in one weight. Witch was causing it to hang. I reground them and it seam to fix my prob. Hope it did not make them to soft. At wot it will turn 9000rpm. That should be ok for pipes. That was on grass at a short dis.

Depending on what pipes you are running 9k is too high. Looking at a power curve there is a steep drop off after specified peak RPM, so you are actually going to drop Hp.
They are hauck pipes 1st gen
I ran those pipes. They gotta be 89-9100 rpm.
