i think the tors switch on my carbs is faulty.. how does one remove it so i can check it or replace it? i dont know enough about carbs to mess with them, do i have to do anything to the carbs to remove the switch? the throttle cable has play to it, so i dont think that is what is causing the tors to activate... how do i remove this switch? details please.. im real dumb when it comes to mechanics..thanks

To check just unplug the 2 tors wires and plug
them into each other. Run engine and see if it
fixes your problem.

that fixes it
i just want to know how to fix the tors system...the throttle is not tight, it has good normal play.. what else other then a faulty switch would cause this? im just wondering how to replace the tors switch without take out the carbs?

The switch unscrews from the mounting bolt. You do not have to take the carbs off. Here is a photo of a removed tors switch.
