Few years ago we had a similar accident happen on the Blue Bear trail 10 minutes ahead of our group. A young guy on a too-big for him Poo blew a tight corner and hit a tree just like you did. He's riding the trails in heaven now. That incident changed the way our group rides permanently. We slowed down and always make sure to ride within the abilities of our slowest rider, and most of us have helment radios so the leader can warn of slippery corners and on-coming traffic.
Ride safe on your new sled and keep the rubber-side down!!!
