LIFE MEMBER ONLY ONCE!!!
I took my carbs off today for some cleaning,my idle was running kinda fast.2 pilots were basically plugged up.I am going to switch to 45's from the 42.5 anyways. Now I noticed on my jackshaft were the bearing is on the clutch side that the plate that holds the bearing from the inside has cracked around he circumference of 1 side.If I loosen the 2 bolts that hold it together and get that plate back to flat again..can I tac weld it tofor the time being.?Don't feel like taing the the chaincase apart, gears, bearings and sliding the jackshaft back in order to remove it and replace it now.If I tac it up in a few places,it should rally hold to next spring I am thinking. What you guys think? Thanks.
