Well, My suggestion would be to fix it. If the motor is NOT burned down and it runs poorly due to needing crank seals and that is all that is wrong with it, the seals aren't all that expensive and obviously the motor needs pulled to do the job....
My vision is 2 seals and a tube of Threebond 1211 is no more than about $100 in parts(seals and sealer) and your sled runs.....
