SXR - In Cadillac we received approx 8", but with the wind it is hard to tell. Grommers are running. Yes, we have a proto-type snow processer running out of Boon. Last weekend the plows did not run much and it was a big improvement for getting in and out of town. If they do not plow to many non-riders complain that the county is not doing a good job of plowing and those who do not like snowmobiles go to the extreme to plow into the dirt....
Going riding this afternoon...

Still snowing like hell i think were getting lake affect too nasty north winds 30-40mph,came in from plowing it's a lost cause right now.
Well got about 13" total, I can measure about 3-4ft in some drifts. Now if this wind would stop that would be awesome!

I have to go out and try to clean my driveway now... not looking forward to it with a snowblower and shovel. I guess we got 16" where I live just on the south side of Grand Rapids. A little more further south.
Looks like we got about a foot. I have to dig the wife out before heading up.
Thanks for the update Loctite, should be up later today. Don't know if I will get out to ride today, but definitely tomorrow. Your are lucky you can ride when its not busy and enjoy the fresh snow.

@ 15 inches in Polo Illinois w/ MASSIVE drifting. Our Suziki xl-7 is entirely drifted in. Can see no paint.
There was a fire w/ ambulance call last night. Snow plow was in the lead out to the call. Had to call it off cause the snow plow couldnt get through . One of our firemen made it to the residence where the call was to, on snowmobile. Probably saved him from freezing.

I went from Flint, MI to Grand Rapids yesterday, arriving in Grand Rapids at 5:30 PM (about 150 miles). About 20 miles before we got to Grand Rapids it started snowing, was im Grand Rapids 30 minutes and headed back to Flint (east). We were about 20 miles from Flint before we got back in front of the snow. We have plenty now though...

I am guessing we ended up with about 16" of good heavy snow. After cleaning the drives and the shop. My Son and I went for a run on the lakes. The East end had well over 2' while the west end was under 6". The lake is approximatly 9 miles long with over 36 miles of shore line. This makes for some long hot laps. The best the SXR and Viper could run was about 80 on GPS in the deep. After 3 laps we needed fuel. Worst milage ever for us, but it sure was fun. Odd running over 100 at near WOT, Good ol Yamaha reliability. lol
