belt sits to low in the secondary

What ultimately was wrong with it/ causing your belt to be so low in the secondary? Did cleaning the clutches solve it? I'm glad u'r issue is solved, good job!

There were two issues that I could see. One, there was a ton of crud hidden in all the mating parts. Just spraying on brake cleaner wasnt going to do it. I took it all apart soaked it in gunk and wire brushed it. Two, I think there was something not right with the spring. When I took it apart the tension was really mushy. When I put it together and wound the spring I just knew by the feel that was the problem. I put it back together and Wellla, all is good....

I think I may just have to tackle the primary now....
