Well because these bulbs are hard to get I am working with a supplyer to get them for TY. You also have to make a wire harness to allow the lights to work. Also I am working on getting led's for dash lights on sxr SRX sx xtc xt. I am going to get bright white, blue and red

This bulb is plug and play in the stock single and dual light set ups. But again you WILL NOT have a low beam the light will be off. High beam only

off topic

looks like you have fox shocks and a raised front end. what did it take to make those fit? :2strokes:

Phazer floats bolt into the SRX chassis

Check out the project X7. Build I should have more info there

Let me know if you need some help on things. Is this a true HID system?? Why would low beem be not working, can you make it so the low beam and high beam are the same so there is no dead light on low.

this place sells them but does not say if they are hi/low. If you wanted hi/lo, you could on a two bulb system, just wire to run the lh bulb all the time and the rh bulb when on high beam. Mostly low beams repoint, down and to the right to shield the light from going to the left. The right hand bulb on your headlight on a unit like in your sled, puts most of its light straight and to the left. Just wire it that way and your high beam issues will be fixed, ish.

IN bulk, http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/500031/210009766/Fog-lampsH1H3-H4-H7-H11-9004-9005-9006-9007.html

I can find no light output rating on these lights either. I wonder how they compare to the output of the HIDs I have been using. Would be great to not have to spend do wiring and mounting on HIDs and save 50bucks in the process if they output as much.

Yes 2 bulbs no problem. Led is a real low draw with almost no heat. The bulbs in my sled now have 120 led's on each bulb and don't even come close to the draw of a standerd H4 bulb.

One issue I can see with these, if they are what you are using, is the point of origin of the light source is not designed for the reflector. I think this is why they usually are used in conjunction with projection lighting. A normal bulb will project light from a single point on the filiment. The reflectors are configured to project from this point out in a patern. On this style bulb, the light source is 1/4 in off center and forward and back 1/2 inch. This is going to really throw off the focus of the reflectors to the ground. For example, the difference between high and low on some bulbs is less than 1/4in.
It would make a good comparison if you could park your sled at night, under a window where you could take a picture of the ground, then drive another sled in the same position or if you can change out your bulbs. That would help.

good point... ill be pating attention here before i make any moves , ive been thinking hid but maybe led after seeing this

Update i found a way to make the lights both work on high and low beam. but you will not see the light turn off when you switch beams. on another note I got the LED bulbs for the dash and they work great. here are some pics of the bulbs and the dash with old and new bulbs. Let me know what you think

Re: Dash Lights

looks good! did you have led 's in both the speed o and tach in the pics? they look different colors, how much where the led's? thanks

I put led lights in my dash this year much better brighter than stock. the dimming is much better at low idle. I also have led taillight.
