Single to dual light set up


Tom the bulb does not have 2 beams you can wire it so the bulb is on when the switch is on high or low. but it is one beam and that is the high.

For the dash led bulbs I can get them for anyone $10 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48. i have white bulbs on there way if someone wants blue or red i have to order them but i can get them let me know.

Did you post where you are getting them for the head light? If not shoot me some info.
 
This may or may not pertain to LED's... But years ago I put different color bulbs in my gauges on my sled and had a hard time seeing the gauge at night with colored bulbs, think it was with the color blue...FWIW.

I'm liking the LED headlight idea myself more power to run heated shields and hand grips...
 
there is a little electrical store here where I moved and they have them. I am going to try to get a set of blue LED's and give them a try.
 
Hey guys, Just a heads up, if you are going to put LEDs behind your warning lights you will need to put a red led behind the red warning lense as is there is something to do with the wavelength of the light that leds produce. I have heard of guys trying to put a white led behind a red lense and either not seeing the light through the lense or it was very dim and hardly noticable the whitle led was switched out for a red one and instantly no problem. I heard somewhere that a white led is actually a blue led with some sort of filter to produce a white colored light.
 
I did not forget about these the lights have still not come in i will let everyone who was interested know when i get them.
 
I also ordered some led headlight bulbs from the link that BETHEVIPER posted since they were fairly cheap. They still haven't arrived yet but I will report back when they do, from the price I don't have high hopes but you never know.
 
so i found a set of led's with high and low beam. i am working on getting some sets. the dash bulbs are on back order and i am waiting on these bulbs.
