hockey playoffs are here!!!!!

1st off that one more for my Vancouver Canucks!!!!!
there 3 wins away from from the cup.
I can't believe they didn't score a single powerplay goal on Vancouver.
I think Thomas played a good game, but apparently not good enough.
And Boston better hope he plays like that all series, because if he slacks off, like last round Vancouver will walk all over them.

I can understand why there gonna try to resurrect Winnipeg...
Central Canada is has grown alot since the departure of the Jets, and is continuing to grow, the economy is getting better and there is more work in these areas then we ever have in the past. It's Sink or Swim with this most recent announcement and its gonna get interesting. Even still..... Im gonna go with Bluemonster1 .....and I think they have as much chance of surviving as the Vancouver grizzlies.

Winnipeg is going to be just fine with money like David Thomson backing them up they will be in the playoffs in two years. If you build it they will come and they have built it.

bruins lost game one :o| not giving up hope yet! ;)!

Holy moly your Bruins better play better than that or this is gonna be over in four games. I agree with Don Cherry why is Chara in front of the goalie instead of on the point with his shot?

he also stated if the arena is not filled to capacity every game, this will not work out then..
So on a -30 night and a last place team comes into town to play our team.HOW many people will show up..not many..Maybe give it like 4 to 5 years and the team may have to be pulled out again...

Well there is your answer tickets sold out in 10 minutes all of them. I will say it again the NHL is in Winnipeg to stay and thats great for Canadian hockey.

Vancouver takes game 2 ye ha!!!..The cup is staying in Canada this time..I just loved the OT goal..11 seconds yet..wow... ;)!

Yes the tickets sold in Winnipeg..but a lot of people won't be going to an NHL game for the next 4 to 5 years because to many season tickets were sold..should of been more walk up tickets allowed.Only about 600 walk up tickets for everygame is available...now is that fair to a lot of people .Sure it is great the NHL is in Winnipeg..but just a few select will able at the game..and for 4 to 5 years yet. This is one program where computers screw up everything. It should of been walk up and phone calls only. The tickets remaining today sold out in 17 seconds.A lot of people said they got ripped..going on computer didn't work for most..keep saying TRY AGAIN and before you know it..all gone. There were a lot of fathers who phoned the radio show and said that they can't wait to take there son to a game..guess what..now they won't get the chance to.There are 8000 people on a waiting list...
The game is for the "rich"..average person can't get to see a game..but hey..we have the NHL in Winnipeg. :o|

Come on now and be positive look in the paper there will be lots of people going on holidays and will sell some of their tickets.

love them green men..they have no mouth opening..how do they drink their Beers then...lol

Thats how they got to be green, to many pregame beers. The canuks are looking strong. TIMMY is keeping boston close!

Holy moly the bruins game out with grit and determination this game. Vancouver is going to have to figure out Thomas. Loungo let in a few easy ones again if I were running the team he would be the first to go after the playoffs are done. The Canucks had better step up their game now that the Bruins just seen how to beat them. Should make for a good playoff and I think this is going to seven games now as Boston is going to win the next game as well.

x2, thats how it's done with every sport. tickets sell out fast and most of em are bought by the ticket agencies that turn around and sell them with a fee attached. (at least here in the states anyways) which is total BS, legalized scalping.

as far as the B's, they were 0-2 twice before in the playoffs before making a series out of it (a winning series to be exact). GO BRUINS!!!!!!!

The difference being Thomas he is a hard guy to get the puck past. Loungo with his slide across and fall flat on his face really ticks me off he has let in at least 10 goals in that way this playoff run. His goaltender coach needs to be fired as well. If Boston plays like that every game they have a chance of winning the cup. This series reminds me of the battle the canucks had with the Hawks. Once the hitting starts the Sedins are taken out of the game.

Well the Canuncks pulled one out of the bag and what a different looking Bruins club when they play in Vancouver.

Loungo should not have started that game seeing as he played so poorly in that building before. The coach should of started his number two. Loungo is not that good of a goaltender and I would trade while others still think he is any good. If the Bruins beat them IMHO it will be because of how bad Thomas has outplayed Loungo. Even if Vancouver wins the Conn smythe should go to Thomas. The way the refs call some of these games is unbelievable as well. There are a lot of people who believe Canada will never win the cup while Bettman is commissioner I am wondering if they are right. That said its all down to one game for the whole thing so should be a good game seeing as its in Vancouver where Loungo is confident. We all seen how easily rattled and turns into a sieve like he does in Boston. The best team will win! Oh one more thing I hope Loungo has learned to keep his mouth shut. Thomas comes into his building and plays stellar he needs to learn how to do that in other barns not only his own.
