I was wondering how much of a difference it makes doing the silencer bore thats on the website here. I know it makes your sled louder, just wondering on how much hp you get from doing it. Thanks

I heard it was about 2 to 4 hp increase but mainly mid range power gain. I have an extra one that is bored if you dont want to do yours.

I loved the sound, I really don't think it makes them much louder just sweetens the noise they make. Definately quieter than a Bender and the very loud MBRP, I have both. The MBRP is louder than the SLP pipes I'm running now.

I was just looking to see what power it makes just cutting the stock can. Its my dads sled and I told him he should dill it even though its going to be a little louder and give him some more hp. Thanks for the info guys. Dont think my dads going to get a can. He would rather pipe it then buy an aftermarket can. ;)!

I have seen dyno results of 2hp and on the same sled every aftermarket can tested losshp over stock.

Back in the day I did the reed notch, drilled the can, and thinned the headgasket. Over-revved like crazy so it was making more power. How much no idea, but it required heavier clutching than it did the day before the mods were done.

Thanks for the heads up. Good thing my dad has a heel clicker.
