SRX vs ZR

Hi i have a '99 srx600 with a hauck clutch kit and 196 studs, my brother has a '98 ZR600 EFI with 120 studs, who would win in a race? 500'? 1000'? 1/2 mile?
 

I would have to beleive the only race your brother has any chance of winning would be from a cold start up. The efi cats I have seen almost all fire with 2 pulls...srx's usually 4 or more....if your lucky!
 
I owned a 98 srx600 that was stock and set it up for grass, and ended up being the fastest 600 on the east coast #23 for stones snow sled. It will have no problem with any 600 and some 700's out there.

Depends on what year ZR900...the 03s were quick, but when they switched to the diamond drive in 04 they kinda sucked. The tripple stingers are probably robbing some HP on the SRX, go back to a stock muffler. That should be a good race, but I would give it to the SRX, they have better top end than the ZR900.
 
You'll have no problem running against the ZR600, I had one before I bought my SRX, and my brother-in-law has an SRX600. The ZR doesn't stand a chance.

Should be a good race. My buddy has an 07 MXZ 600 carb 121, and it will run with my 05 RX1 all the way to 100mph. Whoever gets the best launch wins.
