good luck beating f7's lol i am considering selling my 02 srx to get another f7 they are very fast set up right

look at nbssr web site f7 has stock 700 record 127 + mph in 2000ft with a speed track .if there set up right have not seen an srx with speed track beat it yet lots have tried. .so there quick and fast.and all i run is 8bu-10's in my srx

if you take an F7 and an SRX and you make them identical in weight..would be a fair race then...but the F7 will need a rebuild in under 4000 miles also...and they are just plain ugly looking them F7's...why would you want to sit on one..I am in AC territory out my way and every time I come up to a Cat,they see the SRX and they scatter..and they are so unfriendly them guys I'll tell ya.I know the family that sells them here..they tried to get me to buy a Cat years back..didn't go for it.I have seen so many broken Cats on the River here, parts of Cats on the snow, guys pulling Cats home..it is so funny...got to love the SRX..it is a sexy sled...

THE DEAL IS THIS WITH F-7,s BECAUSE THEY ARE 60 POUNDS LIGHTER THAN THE SRX, WHEN THEY ARE SUPER TUNED TO THE EDGE, LIKE ISR ONES THAT RUN 5.3 THEY FLY, YOUR SATURDAY AFTERNOON RIDE WITH MY BUDDIES ONES WILL GET KILLED BY ANY GOOD SRX OUT THERE. WHERE HAVE YOU SEEN A FAST ONE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX TAKE A SRX ? GOT TO HAVE D&D Y PIPE, TIMING KEY, RACE ECU, HEAD MOD, etc. 3:16 (yammie tony)

in other words they are cheating with the mods and still saying they are stock out of the box...ok..got it..if it makes them happy..so be it..we all know the truth ...lol...and the Green color sucks!!!!

100% WELL YOU TELL ME, YOU CAN GO FROM 140 HP (if that) ON THE DYNO TO ALMOST 160 AND STILL BE STOCK ? YOU CAN GO FROM A 6.2 SLED ON GRASS TO A 5.3, YOU GO FROM A PIG RICH ECU THAT YOU CAN RUN 89 OCTANE TO A 500 F.T. BOX THAT YA NEED 110 RACE GAS. ya think !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3:16 (yammie tony)

I know one out of the box f-7 that got a surprise from my bone stock at the time '93 vmax-4. That was a fun day!

Cats just hate kosing I guess and will do anything to trick the competition. They should of made a proper sled to begin with..never mind playing around with them to make them even run.If I had one..it would of been blown up by now. There is no way the F7 can take on the throttle hard running constantly like my sleds can.I have pinned my SRX like for 2 miles easily wot and no issue what so ever..would of gone further if the room was there.Believe I have tried to blow up the motors in my sleds by hard running just to see if it would..Guess what..couldn't blow them..damn good motors..

This thread still hasn't answered the guys question!!

Back to the guys original question then It all depends on what you want the sled to do. If it is going to be a 90% trail sled 10% lake racer the setup will be way different from a 90% lake racer 10% trail sled.

So you are looking for just a hard pulling setup with good topend and don't really care much about backshift?

Would the 8 bu-10s be a good 50/50 trail and lake set up my sled is bone stock 2002 srx it's currently Reving to high also what do u suggest for the rivits I don't want to get into a whole clutch set up right now but thought I'd try the diff weights what do u think?
